New Partnership Enhances Colorectal Cancer Screening Access

Health Choice Utah has formed a new partnership with Previon Inc. to provide convenient at-home colorectal cancer screening through mail-delivered FIT (Fecal Immunochemical Test) kits. Implementation is underway, and we hope to begin engaging our health plan members to receive FIT tests by mail in November.

This program offers members the opportunity to complete their colorectal cancer screening from the comfort of their homes, with a simple mail-in return process. Our goal is to increase screening rates through more at-home tests while preserving diagnostic resources for those who may test positive and require follow-up care.

This initiative directly supports Governor Cox's One Utah Health Collaborative efforts to improve health outcomes across our state. Increasing colorectal cancer screening rates has been identified as a key priority. This statewide partnership represents a significant step forward in making preventive care more accessible and improving health outcomes for the people of Utah.
